Diabetic Complication Predictor · ShivAura · Effective date: 10 August 2026
Do not delay medical care. If you have severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, seek immediate medical attention through an appropriate local emergency or healthcare service.

Purpose of the App

Diabetic Complication Predictor is designed to provide general health information, educational material, health tracking and assessment-support features for people living with diabetes.

The App Does Not Diagnose or Treat

The App does not replace a licensed physician, diabetes specialist, ophthalmologist, nurse, dietitian, laboratory, hospital or other qualified healthcare professional. Information and results shown by the App are not a diagnosis, treatment plan or guarantee of health status.

Risk Predictions and Assessments

Risk scores and assessments are generated from information provided by the user and/or supported models. They are estimates and can produce false-positive or false-negative results. A low-risk result does not guarantee that a complication is absent, and a high-risk result does not establish that a condition is present.

Retinal, Eye and Other Image Assessments

Where enabled, the App may analyse submitted images for signs associated with diabetes-related eye conditions or other supported assessments. Image quality, lighting, device characteristics, anatomy and model limitations can affect results.

Image-based results must not be used as a substitute for a comprehensive eye examination or professional clinical assessment.

AI Health Assistant

AI-generated answers are provided for general informational purposes. AI systems may misunderstand context, produce outdated information, or generate incorrect recommendations. Never rely on an AI response for emergency care, medication changes or a diagnosis.

Diet and Lifestyle Guidance

Diet, meal and lifestyle information is general guidance and may not account for allergies, medications, kidney function, pregnancy, other medical conditions, cultural requirements or individual nutritional needs. Consult a qualified clinician or registered dietitian when personalised dietary advice is needed.

Emergency and Urgent Situations

The App is not an emergency-response service and does not monitor users continuously. If you experience severe symptoms or believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, stop relying on the App and seek immediate professional medical care.

Professional Review

For any important health decision, use the App as a supplementary information tool and discuss relevant results with a qualified healthcare professional who can review your complete clinical context.
